Update to Hours of Operation
Beginning on October 20, 2018, the Regional Center for Animal Care and Protection will have new operating hours. The new hours will be Monday – Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Adoption hours will also change to Monday - Saturday from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Our new operating hours will allow residents to redeem their animals earlier in the day to open much needed space in the shelter. Scheduling adoptions later in the afternoon will allow the animals to have been cleaned, fed and walked prior to adoption activities. We are hopeful that the new hours will increase our citizens’ ability to redeem their animals earlier in the day and also create a better environment for adopters and the animals during the adoption process. If there are any questions, please contact the shelter at 344-4922 for assistance.
Mission of RCACP
